翔东大学的事务局长小园洋平于家中遇害，富士见署刑警星野尚人（林遣都饰）赶往现场，在对客厅进行勘察后，怀疑与妻子分居的小园还与其他女性进行交往。翔东大学国际社会学系的讲师谷村夏帆（高梨临饰）是个为了出人头地不择手段的女人，她于半年前开始与手握人事大权的小园搞婚外恋。小园被杀后，夏帆作为嫌疑人被逮捕。 另一边，记者丸山奏太（佐藤隆太饰）收到了一封匿名邮件，内容有关被害人出轨一事；他察觉到有人在引导案件舆论，于是选择了独自进行调查。 警局总部草草结案，将夏帆定为杀人犯；这一举动让星野察觉不对，他觉得夏帆有可能是被人诬陷了。刑警、嫌疑人、记者。这三人各自受个人问题所扰，却又因利益关系一致走到了一起。他们共同出谋划策，一层层掀开幕后黑手的神秘面纱，一步步向真相靠近。真凶究竟是谁呢？人类的“恶意”背后所隐藏的，令人震惊的真相即将揭露！。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems?
