本片是以中国传统神话中的人物财神赵公明为原型，讲述了赵公明在巡视人间时，发现瘟神私自豢养上古妖兽，妄图为祸苍生而出手镇封了妖兽，却没想被瘟神污蔑，导致被贬人间的故事。。Mid-August in Paris (the title is a date: August 15) in a sunny, quiet apartment a young woman talks, thinks, reflects about herself, everyday life and little events in a long, uninterrupted monologue.
