Four Chaplin shorts from 1916: One A.M., The Rink, The Pawnshop, and The Floorwalker, presented with music and sound effects.。19世纪30年代的上海滩，侦探郑皓东受共事多年的同乡律师周海平之邀，找寻富商林振江死后下落不明的遗产。遗产继承人林惠芸是林振江20多年未见的女儿，周海平费尽周折找到了她，将她从天津请到上海。但是，遗嘱上的受益人并非只有林惠芸一人，还有林振江最后一任私人医生高立文，以及律师周海平。众人驱车前往林振江郊外的公馆，当天郑皓东基本确定了林振江隐藏遗产的位置，当晚周海平也公布了林振江的最后遗嘱。看似这桩简单的遗产案即将结案，然而，一觉醒来，林宅在郑皓东的眼皮底下消失了。。Allison is approached by Gary Durant who wants something done about the harassment directed at his elderly father.
