理发店学徒彭大乾和李小坤获升为理发师，但二人手忙脚乱，干剃伤客人的脸，坤又差点把客人的头发烧光，结果失去工作。乾和坤饥饿难熬，到大饭店白吃白喝，然后自首。饭店董事长悯其遭遇，让他们在厨房工作，偿还饭钱。乾、坤糊里糊涂，大帮倒忙，闹至笑话百出。二人工作期间结识女工美珍，三人成为知己，坤更对珍一见钟情。珍姨妈贪财，欲将珍嫁给一富有老华侨，并在大饭店设宴。乾和坤从中破坏，借酒装疯，推翻酒席，闹得天翻...。A movie about a good-for-nothing stuntman called Mike Gaucher who can't do one single job without something going wrong.
