故事讲述无聊且郁郁寡欢的地狱之主路西法放弃了他的宝座和王国，搬到了华美绚丽、熠熠生辉的洛杉矶，与洛杉矶警局并肩作战，共同惩治犯罪。。Speedy" loses his job as a soda-jerk, then spends the day with his girl at Coney Island. He then becomes a cab driver and delivers Babe Ruth to Yankee Stadium, where he stays to see the game. When the railroad tries to run the last horse-drawn trolley (operated by his girl's grandfather) out of business, "Speedy" organizes the neighborhood oldtimers to thwart their scheme.。
