Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。1937年，抗日战争爆发。南京守城军官的石永凯在南京保卫战中结识了中国共产党地下党员袁玉婷、大学教授周永民、国军士兵许秀岚、帮派首领林万龙、民间手艺人陈熹年、爱国富商彭松祥等人，他们团结一致，成功保护大部分幸存的南京市民和朝天宫国宝。在撤离南京城时，袁玉婷不幸牺牲，她的共产主义精神鼓舞了石永凯。在新四军的安排下，石永凯组织“虎贲”特战队，先后在徐州大营救、武汉鱼雷战、火舞谍影、军火迷踪、赌场鏖战、皖南锄奸等斗争中，伏击日寇，威名震震。石永凯率“虎贲”小组围剿上海日军细菌战“血菊计划”总部时与永野秀一部激烈交火。搏斗中，石永凯刺穿永野秀一的咽喉，粉碎了日军在华东区的特工组织。在中国共产党的领导下，石永凯率“虎贲”特战队征战大江南北，谱写一曲可歌可泣的抗日英雄传奇。。自古以来，生灵万物自出生时就带来了两股能量——幸福的能量和不幸的能量。然而日本的佛女津市这两股能量的平衡却遭到了破坏。神明界掌管幸运与不幸平衡的穷神会派出穷神红叶（内山夕实 饰）下凡到人间调查破坏运气秩序的元凶樱市子（花泽香菜 饰）。16岁的高中生樱市子是一名集美丽、智慧、财力、运动细胞于一身的天生幸运儿，她从出生就不知道什么是努力和失败。红叶用观察幸福与不幸能量值的眼镜看出原来樱市子不仅幸福的能量值大大高于常人，还在不断汲取着别人的幸福能量。红叶断言如果樱市子继续不断吸收别人的幸福能量的话，将会招致身边人变得不幸。于是红叶宣布要废掉樱市子吸收幸福能量的能力并且把她多得离谱的幸福能量还回它们应有的地方……。
