In 2012 South African Bruce Murray found himself becoming the 12th Duke of Atholl and heading up the only priv...。故事发生在清朝末年，大侦探福尔摩斯（范艾理 饰）和助手华生（许忠权 饰）一起来到中国游玩，投宿在仙来客栈。没想到客栈被官兵重重把守，一片鹤唳风声的肃杀气氛。原来，朝廷的一批价值连城的珠宝不翼而飞，负责护送珠宝的将军布克亦身首异处。于是，福尔摩斯和华生便留了下来，企图侦破此案。 很快，现场留下的种种蛛丝马迹便将马贩子金马掌（王赤 饰）给牵扯了出来，哪知道仙来客栈的女掌柜白芙蓉（秀兰丽梅 饰）抢先一步向金马掌通风报信，当一行人赶到金马掌处时，等待着他们的只有空空如也的屋子和布克的人头。与此同时，白芙蓉也在暗中调查着案件的真相，并且发现，这一切似乎和汉奸杜文才有着千丝万缕的关联。。
