二重太陽サンズを取り巻く５つの惑星からなる太陽系ペンタゴナ・ワールド。その辺境にある惑星コアムに青雲の志を胸に故郷を旅立った若者２人、ダバ・マイロードとミラウー・キャオがいた。 支配者ポセイダルによって治められているもののペンタゴナ・ワールドの政治は腐敗しており、各地では反乱軍が決起し戦乱が絶えなかった。ダバたちは元盗賊団のファンネリア・アムや、同様に青雲の志に燃えるギャブレット・ギャブレーと出会い、あるいは衝突しながら、ペンタゴナ・ワールドの実態を知るようになる。 ヘビーメタル・エルガイムを駆り、ポセイダル軍と戦うダバは、やがて反乱軍のリーダーとなっていった。。The dream of sending humans to Mars is closer than ever before.
