故事以动荡的中东局势为背景，重点描述一个美国家庭在中东工作的种种经历。巴里（亚当·雷纳 Adam Rayner 饰）是某中东国家统治者的儿子，在自我流放20年之后，他带着美国妻子和孩子回到了饱受战火折磨的祖国——来参加侄子的婚礼。他一回来就卷入了危险的政治游戏，迫使他再次面对那个他年少时就已经抛弃的家庭。。Spring 2001...
