The film is an action love story of a renegade cop who believes that the only way to eradicate crime is to give criminals the bullet - not handcuffs.。长谷川桃子（北川景子饰）原本是婚礼公司的策划人，一次工作失误她被贬谪到支社葬仪社的特别清理科。不明所以的桃子接手第一项任务后才发现要她做的竟是清理银行劫匪被击毙的现场及劫匪的尸体，更难以置信的是，面前躺着的竟是高中时对她谆谆教导的班主任。 悲痛的桃子在抚摸老师遗物的时候突然晕了过去，醒来时却发现自己回到了昨天，电话那头友人大河内日奈（浅見れいな饰）开着前一天的玩笑，新闻里播的是昨天的新闻……反复确认这不是梦境后，桃子迅疾展开了挽救老师的行动！ “你今后会拥有让时光倒回的能力。”原来12年前早有预言，只要触摸死者的遗物，桃子就能回到过去改变历史。于是，在同事大友将太郎（谷原章介饰）的帮助下，桃子开始了一轮又一轮的穿越……。The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of three drug dealers in Rettendon, Essex, UK.
