剧情简介
故事发生在上个世纪初，清朝贵族青年瑞年因逃婚到日本求学，进入日本陆军学校，瑞年结识了范从武和日本学生竹田宫恒智，在德国教官穆尔的教导下，瑞年、竹田和范从武均以优异的成绩毕业。期间瑞年的好友子规进入清华学堂。1937年，日本全面侵华，瑞年和一同投军的范从武分别成为国军的营长，转战太原，太原会战失败后，瑞年率残部转移到了蒙古草原，结识诺彦王子。瑞年大学的同学竹田也率部进攻蒙古。瑞年率领的国军部队和竹田率领日军部队发生了战斗。瑞年结识了八路军的部队，对共产党产生好感，在战斗中瑞年率部积极与八路军配合，后被八路军的抗战精神所打动，率部参加八路。瑞年与好友子规的妹妹子鹃和赵芊骏之间产生情感纠葛。战争结束，受降仪式上，瑞年与竹田相见，竹田将那把菊花军刀交给了瑞年。。When Isabella Tree and her husband arrived at the rural estate they had inherited and saw the vast swathes of farmland that came with it, they immediately saw how sick the land was—entire habitats destroyed, bird and plant species gone extinct, fields saturated with chemicals.
