剧情简介

本剧改编自朱丽叶·麦克丹尼尔的小说，设定在1970年代早期，讲述玛克辛·西蒙斯（克里斯汀·韦格饰）试图在美国最高档的餐桌——棕榈滩上流社会中占据一席之地。当玛克辛试图跨越富人和穷人之间那道不可逾越的界限时，这部剧提出了至今仍然让人困惑的问题：谁能在上流社会占有一席之地？你该如何获得一席之地？为了达到目标，你会牺牲什么？。香港建筑师“胡明”于中国投资其事务，“江露”是其美丽的秘书。一个狂风暴雨的晚上，她在回家途中被其酒醉上司强暴。之后，江被说服做其情人，在他的别墅中一起生活。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
